Our Story
New England Gymnastics Express, also known as NEGX was founded in 1988 by Maureen Chagnon and Laurie Scanlon. For 24 years, NEGX offered gymnastics programs for children ages two through high school at both recreational and competitive levels. As the program began to grow and expand, thoughts of opening a second facility came into play.
In 2008, Gymnastics Express Too (GET) was born. This 15,000 square foot, air conditioned state-of-the-art facility was designed and built from the ground up. With brand new and up to date equipment, two party rooms, a 30 by 40 foot dance room, and our unique hand crafted pirate ship and castle, our Glastonbury facility is considered one of the nicest gymnastics centers in the state of Connecticut. Gymnastics Express continues to provide excellence in gymnastics training for children 2 to 17 years old.
